Weskus Mall gave back this Festive Season. Weskus Mall made contact with Schools in and around the West Coast area. 5 Schools were chosen to send 4 kids to Weskus Mall to enjoy a day filled with fun, laughter, gifts, eats and treats at Spur. Thank you to all the teachers who made the effort to bring the kids to Weskus Mall to enjoy the day with us. Here is a flashback of the kids having fun at Spur today. Pensioners Tea 14 November 2018
Weskus Mall once again hosted a Pensioners Tea on the 14th of November 2018. This event was hosted by Hugo Nieuwoud as MC and performer for the day.
Weskus Mall once again hosted a Bridal Show in conjunction with the Weslander. The Bridal show took place at Protea Hotel on the 6th of October 2018. Desmond Wells was the MC and performer for the day. The Bride of the year winner was Mary-Ann Boshoff, 1st Princess Chanel Claasen, 2nd Princess was Fareezia Jones and the viewer’s choice winner was Genevia Isaacs. Congratulations to all the winning brides! Thank you to our sponsors who made the day possible.
Weskus Mall Centre Management participated in the Santa Shoebox event that took place from the 27th to the 29th of September 2018. We want to thank everyone who participated in this worthy course.
Cupcakes for Hope – Children with Canser
Weskus Mall would like to thank everyone for their participation in supporting the Cupcakes for Hope event on Saturday the 29th of September 2018. Weskus Mall were able to raise a whopping R10,500. These funds were donated to the Cupcake Angels Foundation. We also donated cupcakes to the Provincial Hospital and Huis Wittekruin. This year the Saldanha Round Table and Helen Antonopoulos came on board to donate their time by selling cupcakes at the one station. A big thanks to Food Lovers Market for donating 300 cupcakes.
Suidooster Kuier Fees at Weskus Mall
Weskus Mall hosted 5 of the Suidooster actors on Saturday the 8th of September from 11:00 - 13:00 in the Food court. Actors such as; Uncle AB, Tim, Danny, Mymoena and Mrs J came to visit the Weskus Mall. Together with Son, Kuier and Kyknet, Weskus Mall is proud to have presented another successful event. Thank you to our tenants; Wino, Mica, De Jagers, Sausage Saloon, Fun K, Pick 'n Pay and Vodacom who came on board by sponsoring vouchers for spot prizes during the morning.
Weskus Mall hosted an Open Day on the weekend of 16 to 18 August 2018 in various courts at the Mall. The various departments that were showcased was:
- SBM Traffic
- SAS Navy
- SBM Fire
- Langebaanweg Fire
- Silver Falcons
- SAPS Vredenburg
- 4 Special Forces
This project provided different disciplines with the opportunity to have an information session on the services they render to our community and allows for career path guidance and recruiting.
Weskus Mall visited Laurie Hugo School in Moorreesburg on the 18th of July 2018.
Weskus Mall dedicated 67 minutes to the School’s learners to educate them how to use sanitary wear and how important it is to be hygienic when using it.
As part of the Keep a Girl Child in School campaign is it important to Weskus Mall that kids are aware how important it is to stay in School and receive education.
Weskus Mall hosted a Facebook Competition in regards with Women’s Day. Viewers had a chance to comment on a Facebook post why they think they should win a ticket for themselves and a friend to attend the Blue Bay Lodge Woman’s Day lunch on the 9th of August 2018.
The draw took place on the 6th of August and the winner was announced.

SASSAF Stationary Drive
Weskus Mall Hosted another successful stationary drive together with SASSAF on Saturday the 3rd of March from 10:00 - 14:00. Graeme Richards was the MC and presenter for the day. Weskus Mall want to thank all the School in the area who took the time to bring the kids to perform on stage. After all this day was all about the talent that kids have in the school Stationary to the value of R15 000 will be delivered to the schools who participated in this weekend event.
